Wellspring Family Therapy was founded in 2020 by Suzette Bray, LMFT in response to the high demand of mental health services during and after the COVID-19 crisis. Suzette is well-regarded throughout the state of California as a supervisor, clinician and DBT expert.
Designed to increase accessibility of therapy services in California’s suburban, rural and less-populated areas, Wellspring Family Therapy provides only teletherapy services to clients across the state.
Our Services
Wellspring Family Therapy provides comprehensive teletherapy services for adults, teens, children, couples, and families throughout California. We specialize in providing traditional therapeutic services in a teletherapy environment, such as the treatment of anxiety, depression, relational challenges, self-esteem/self-worth issues, parenting struggles, trauma, grief and loss, and significant life transitions.
Job Details
Our Licensed Therapists are vital members of the Wellspring Family Therapy team. This role is a part-time position with a minimum requirement of 5 hours/week, with the flexibility to become a full-time position. The entirety of the work will be done via teletherapy, and will not require participation in any additional duties outside of clinical services.
Job Duties
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled clinician with experience providing effective online therapy to individuals, teens, kids, couples, or families. Prior experience providing teletherapy services in a private practice setting is preferred but not required.
At this time, responsibilities entail:
Provide individual therapy treatment services to clients with a variety of diagnoses.
Complete electronic notes, current treatment plan and obtain client payments in a timely fashion.
Formulate DSM 5 diagnoses, as needed and appropriate.
Schedule & re-schedule clients for teletherapy sessions with you.
Address and manage client crises, when necessary.
Consult with other providers, psychiatrists, and family members when appropriate.

Competence providing quality therapy services to a diverse client population.
Ability to complete high-quality session documentation in a timely manner.
Good people skills and ability to connect with people in a warm, nurturing way while also setting boundaries and enforcing policies.
Ability to follow practice policies.
Knowledge of scope of practice and understanding of situations that require consultation with supervisor.
Attention to detail and ability to manage client caseload.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently.
Qualifications:
The following qualifications are required for this position, unless otherwise noted:
Licensed in CA as a MFT, LCSW.
Minimum one-year experience providing therapy services in an outpatient or private practice setting (preferred but not required).
Ability to accept a minimum of 5 clients per week.

Reporting Structure:
The Licensed Therapist will report to the Executive Director and Director of Operations.
Compensation:
Hourly compensation is based on experience and qualifications.
Our pay schedule includes bi-monthly pay periods. All therapists are paid “fee for service” and are only paid for providing teletherapy sessions or participating in mandatory practice events, trainings, or meetings.
This position is 100% remote.
